Anatomic pathology laboratory services are performed in a College of American Pathologists-accredited laboratory, owned, operated and directed by Western Pathology Associates, Ltd & Pinnacle Pathology, PC. Our laboratory performs a variety of testing including gross tissue evaluation/dissection, tissue processing, cytology specimen preparation and a large menu of histochemical and immunohistochemical (IHC) stains for diagnostic, prognostic and/or therapeutic purposes. Esoteric stains, cytogenetic/molecular testing and other ancillary studies are performed through one of our reference laboratory partners when necessary. We participate in multiple proficiency testing programs through the CAP.
